The beginning / 2020

Distance made something closer.

The first Open Tables were created during COVID so bridal showers and small celebrations could continue. We carried in the handmade tables, cleaned and dressed them, placed the food, left before guests arrived, and returned the next day. The contact-light ritual is part of the origin; the idea now has more ways to come alive.

Format 01 / low

Closer to the ground.

Relaxed seating, cushions, grazing, and a table that turns a lawn or garden into the room.

Format 02 / dining height

Ready for dinner.

The same handmade tabletop on taller legs with chairs, built for weddings, seated meals, and gatherings that want a traditional dining height outdoors.
